Hello – I’m Anna, AKA Totopus.
I love to crochet and knit. I started Woolly Island because I want to create this magical place where you don’t need to be burdened by anything in real life: just fluffy yarns and cute creatures. I also want a place to document my patterns and share my designs with everyone with the same passion. However, my passion lies in crocheting/knitting instead of blogging. When coming to blogging, I always procrastinate. I didn’t really update my blog as much as I’d liked to. And I decided to be consistent this year. ><
I do have a job that is not crafting-related. I work as a full stack developer for my 9-5. I prefer crocheting to coding, so I’m also trying to monetize a bit from crochet so I may be able to quit my job without feeling guilty one day. I hope my boss and coworkers will not see my blog.
I live in Manhattan with my 2 cuteeee cats and an even cuter husband. I don’t think this is related to crochet at all, but I see everyone else putting it on their blog. So I put it on my blog too.
