sc = single crochet
sc inc = single crochet increase
sc dec = single crochet decrease
dc = double crochet

Instructions:
Pumpkin Body
— Using 5 mm crochet hook and Pumpkin or Mustard Colored Yarn —
Round 1: start with a magic circle with 6 sc (6 sts)
Round 2: (sc inc) * 6 (12 sts)
Round 3: (sc, sc inc) * 6 (18 sts)
Round 4: (sc, sc inc, sc) * 6 (24 sts)
Round 5 – Round 8: 24 sc (24 sts)
Round 9: (sc, sc dec, sc) * 6 (18 sts)
Round 10: (sc, sc dec) * 6 (12 sts)
Round 11: (sc dec) * 6 (6 sts)
Put moderate amount of fiberfill into the pumpkin body, close the pumpkin and leave a long yarn tail so we can create ridges on the pumpkin.
Insert the needle back through the pumpkin and pull the yarn tight to create one ridge. Repeat this step for 6 times to create 6 ridges.
Pumpkin Stem Base
— Using 5 mm crochet hook and Olive Colored Yarn —
Round 1: start with a magic circle with 6 sc (6 sts)
Pumpkin Stem Top
— Using 5 mm crochet hook and Olive Colored Yarn —
Do 3 times crochet cord
Scrunchie
— Using 4 mm crochet hook and Black Yarn —
Round 1: ch 7 (7 sts)
Put the elastic in the middle then connect first and last chain
Round 2 – Your desired length: 7 dc (7 sts)
Keep doing double crochet until the scrunchie reaches your desired length.
Sew close the scrunchie.
Let’s Assemble
Sew the pumpkin stem base onto the pumpkin body. Then sew the pumpkin stem top onto the pumpkin stem base. Sew the entire pumpkin onto the scrunchie.
Cut yarns and hide yarn tails.
The Pumpkin Scrunchie is finished! Enjoy!
