This is a seaside pen holder made for the summer. I saw this online and decided to translate it into English. This pattern is translated by WoollyIsland with the original author’s approval.

PROJECT LEVEL:
Easy
MATERIALS:
White & Blue yarn
Crochet hook
Anchor shaped decor piece
Acrylic board
ABBREVIATIONS:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sts = stitches
INSTRUCTIONS:
This pen holder consists of 4 parts: Acrylic baseboard, main body, top ring, anchor-shaped decor. Note that for the original pattern, an acrylic board is used. If you can not find the acrylic board, just crochet the base the way you crochet a round piece.
Main body
The first round has 72 total stitches, the rest of the rounds have 78 stitches. If you are not using the acrylic board, just crochet a round with 78 stitches on the last round and continue 78 stitches rounds for as many times as you need.
Do 2 rows of white for every 24rows of blue

There are a total of 29 rounds.
Top Ring
Do 7 rows of blue for every 14 rows of white.

Everybody’s strength is different, continue this until it reaches the length of the circumference of the pen holder’s opening. Sew the ring onto the main body.
Sew the anchor-shaped decor on the main body. The seaside pen holder is finished!
