This is a small and easy but cute Christmas project. You can make as many little hats as you want. I was only planning to make a little red hat and then I can not stop because it is so easy to make them.

size 3 DK yarn (I am using the Mira yarn. I don’t like the texture very much but they are very good for making small things with different colors like these hats)
small pompom (The Livder pompom 0.6 inch is perfect for this hat. I tried at least 5 other types of pompom then found this one.)
3.5 mm (US E/4) crochet hook
glue gun/fabric glue
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sc inc = single crochet increase
sts = stitches
Instructions:
Colored yarn:
Round 1: 6 sc (6 sts)
Round 2: (sc, sc inc) * 3 (9 sts)
Round 3: (sc, sc inc, sc) * 3 (12 sts)
Round 4: 12 sc (12 sts)
Round 5: (3 sc, sc inc) * 3 (15 sts)
Round 6: 15 sc (15 sts)
Round 7: (2 sc, sc inc, 2 sc) * 3 (18 sts)
White yarn:
Round 8-11: 18 sc (18 sts)
Glue the small pompom on the top of the hat.
