Hi! I’m doing the strawberry and cream handbag, and in the round 1 of the body you have to work only on the outer loop and I’m kinda confused, because after doing it, it looks more like a base if you turn it upside down, and in the right side it looks rounder, is it supposed to be like that?

For the green tops of strawberries, do you do 5 slip stitches in each of the 5 double crochets of the strawberry? Or do you single crochet 5 stitches together? Then, do you switch to main color? Sorry, lots of questions about that round. All the other rounds make sense though! 🙂 such a cute pattern, I’m just confused about that round.
Hey Tylyn, for the leaves, you should do 5 incomplete single crochet stitches on the 5 double crochets and then a slip stitch on the 5 single crochet stitches. After that, you switch back to the main color. Thank you for liking this pattern!
hii so I’m a bit confused on where you do the white ruffling and when you switch the color to white. also if I don’t want to do the strawberries any clues on how I can avoid the specific strawberry stitches ?
Hi Raluca, You change color to white do the white ruffling on Round 15 of the Body. If you don’t want to do the strawberries, just do 66 single crochet stitches on Round 16 & 17. Hope this helps!

Hey Kath, An incomplete single crochet means single crochet that is worked up only to the yarn over. After 5 incomplete single crochet stitches, you should have 5 loops on your hook. Hope this answered your question!
